Thus, my general focus this year is two (2) fold:
1. To ensure that the history of the Club is properly archived and made accessible to club members and members of the general public.
2. To ensure that quality members are recruited; mentored; and that a system of retention is implemented. My goal after recruitment, mentoring, and retention, is that every member is trained in the art of effective communication and leadership skills which will prepare them for the future.
It is the goal of our executive team to ensure that we Preserve our Past and Embrace our Future. I thank the members of The First Bahamas Branch of Toastmasters International Club 1600 for affording me the opportunity to serve OUR Club as President.
No man is an Island, therefore, I ask for the continued support and encouragement of the members that molded my foundation and I challenge our members today to continue our legacy.
Fellow Toastmasters, I invite you to join the Executives and me in Preserving our Past
Embracing our Future.
Regards,
TM Charles Newbold III
President
